1. The service
UglyProfitable.com, operated by CodeAustral LLC, publishes an informational directory of business ideas, typical figures, rankings, guides and launch research. Online discovery and basic research are free. We also offer an optional paid workspace, downloadable resource bundles and personalized written consultations.
2. Educational information, not professional advice
Content and reports are educational research, not legal, tax, accounting, investment, lending, engineering, health, safety or licensing advice. Figures are estimates and examples, not forecasts or guarantees. You are responsible for verifying demand, pricing, costs, insurance, permits, zoning, licensing, tax and compliance with qualified local professionals and authorities before acting.
3. Free online content
You may browse and use the site for personal evaluation. You may not scrape at scale, republish, resell, train a competing database from, or remove attribution from our original compilations and editorial research.
4. Downloadable products
A one-time purchase grants one buyer a personal, non-transferable license to use the described downloadable database, ebook-style guide and worksheets. It does not transfer copyright or permit redistribution. Online content remains free regardless of purchase.
5. Operator Workspace subscription
The Ugly Operator Workspace is available as a recurring monthly or yearly subscription for personal favorites, shortlist stages, notes, project organization and to-do tools. Either plan begins with a 7-day free trial, then renews automatically at the selected billing interval until canceled through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the current period. Canceling does not restrict free online research.
6. Personalized consultations
Consultations are asynchronous written research based on the intake you provide. The 48-business-hour delivery window starts after confirmed payment and a materially complete intake, pauses on Saturdays and Sundays, and pauses if we request information necessary to perform the scope. The Local Ugly Business Match covers three recommendations and one final choice. The Ugly Business Launch Blueprint covers one selected business. A purchase does not include ongoing implementation, calls, revisions outside the stated scope or professional advice.
7. Your responsibilities
Provide accurate information, keep private tracking links secure, and do not submit confidential third-party data you are not authorized to share. You remain solely responsible for business decisions and results.
8. Payments and refunds
Prices are shown in USD and processed through Stripe. The Operator Workspace is a recurring monthly or yearly subscription; resource bundles and consultations are one-time purchases. Our Refund Policy is part of these terms; rights that cannot legally be waived still apply.
9. Availability and changes
We may correct, update or remove site information and may refuse or refund an order we cannot responsibly fulfill. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every data point remains current.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UglyProfitable and CodeAustral LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages arising from use of the site or a report. Our aggregate liability for a paid product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
